Ametsub - All is Silence

Ametsub which is active based in Tokyo. His previous album “The Nothings of The North" gets a big response from wide listeners of the world. It received "The Best Album of the Year 2009" from Ryuichi Sakamoto and accolade from many other publications named Ametsub one of most significant musician in this music scene. He achieves appearance on festivals such as SonarSound Tokyo, SummerSonic Festival, Unit-CountDown Night(2009,2010,2011,2012), TaicoClub Show, DeLaFantasia Festival and he played a live with Yagya and Ruxpin(n5MD) in Laugavegur22, Reykjavik, ICELAND. He got result by the activity as DJ also, and he showed the unparalleled musicality such as an endless trip in his live-show and gradually attracted many people and acted with the artists beyond the border such as Plaid, Cornelius, Fennesz, AtomTM, Floating Points, Jel, Vladislav Delay, Oval, Moritz Von Oswald, Alva Noto, Tujiko Noriko and DJ Krush etc.
In 2011, he played a live at L.E.V. Festival in Spain with Apparat, Johann Johannson, Lorn, John Hopkins, Sbtrkt and others, it was called the best act live by a review magazine later in spite of a condition bottom surrounded by audience on a lake and he left a large trace. then, he achieves success in Spain tour with Crisopa.
In 2012, he appeared on MiRA Festival Spain with Actress, Lone, he also appeared FujiRock Festival'12 Japan, the tour in Ukraine with Daisuke Tanabe.
Long-awaited 3rd Album released in 2012 also has gotten massive response. It was ranked number 5 on overseas music charts of Tower Records(The biggest cd shop in Japan) along with Sigur Ros, My bloody valentine etc. In 2013, SonarSound Tokyo 2013, HanoiSoundStuff Festival in Vietnam with Daito Mababe. and he was chosen by Bvdub, Tim Hecker to support their solo Japan Tour. He performs activity also outside Japan across a border.

His new album for the first time in three years is packed focusing on the musical piece played in his show, and an overpoweringly attractive stretch of his land exists compared with past work.
